What are your goals and ambitions for 2023?

Have you been creative over the Christmas period? Has the New Year sparked an interest and a resolution to try something new or to do something arty?

We've got opportunities in the ArtSpeak programme to help you explore your creativity.

Re starting next week, we have our monthly life drawing sessions and our Tuesday art clubs begin again on Tuesday 10th January.

Life Drawing -

Monday 9 January, Monday 6 February and Monday 6 March

Our life drawing sessions are open to all levels of ability and are a relaxed and welcoming environment for you to work in.

Sessions are led by ArtSpeak member Theo Stickley, who has over 30 years of life drawing experience. He's always on hand to encourage, support, guide, share tips and methods as required.

Sessions alternate between male and female models. Monday 9 January will be a female model.

£5 per session. Bring your own materials you like to work with. Paper and pencils are available to use if needed.

Painting Club -

Fortnightly Tuesdays beginning 10 January

Our painting workshops are fun, engaging and stimulating, offering you plenty of opportunity to experiment and develop your painting skills.

Sessions are suitable for all levels of ability and involve demonstrations by painting tutor Mark Beaven to help you increase your understanding around painting techniques and colour mixing.

The next project for the new year will involve studying and painting landscapes. Different projects will be introduced throughout the course of sessions giving you a new focus and inspiration to produce your own pieces of work. All materials are provided for the sessions.

Art Club -

Our Art sessions at 25 Prospect Street are a welcoming space for you to try out a range of arts and crafts ideas. Led by our resident Artist Anna Roebuck, sessions are fun and inspiring. They're open to all levels of experience and all materials are provided.
