Monthly Drawing sessions

Opportunities to draw at our monthly life drawing sessions and the sketchbook café meet ups.

Do you enjoy drawing and sketching? Are you looking for a new source of inspiration?

On the back of our successful life drawing classes, session facilitator and ArtSpeak member Theo Stickley has started the initiative for a monthly meet up at a café to sketch with others.

This is a nice relaxed and sociable opportunity and the next sketchbook café will be on April 17th 10:30 at Samuel Hall, (Wetherspoons) Mansfield Road, Sherwood.

How to get there:

Free car parking in local car parks and on street parking is available. Buses 56, 57, 58, from city centre, alight at Haydn Road stop. The group will meet upstairs at the front of the building. It is an "unannounced" meeting so please do not ask staff, just buy a drink, head upstairs and look for mature people with sketchbooks!

Everyone welcome, but if you wish to draw, please bring your own materials.

There is no need to book, just turn up. If you have any questions please contact Theo - theo.stickley@gmail.com

Life Drawing:

The next life drawing class will be at 25 Prospect Street on Monday 3rd April, 15:00 - 17:00

Our life drawing classes are open to all levels of ability, they're led by Theo who has 30 years of life drawing experience, and he'll be on hand to encourage, support, guide, share tips and methods when required.

On this occasion the model will be male.

Bring along the materials you'd like to work with. We'll have pencils and paper for you to use if required.
