As part of a new partnership with The School of Geography, University of Nottingham and Lakeside Arts, we're hosting some creative workshops around the themes of heritage and placemaking.
In a four part series of workshops you'll have the opportunity to look through maps from The School of Geography's extensive map collection, use them to explore your history and tell your unique story through various visual arts techniques.
Each session will be run by a different Artist and will include using mixed media, watercolour and old photographs to illustrate your connection to the local area and other areas you've lived and travelled.
The workshops are being held once a month 1 - 3pm
The first is during Heritage Open Days and gives you the opportunity to explore the map archives in the School of Geography at University of Nottingham.
September 18, October 16, November 13 and December 18
