Call out for models to be included in 'Positive Portraits'

ArtSpeak and Age Friendly Nottingham are looking for participants aged 60 and above to be models for a bespoke photography project.

The images taken will be used to positively represent our ageing population and will be used within Age Friendly, Nottingham City Council and ArtSpeak marketing material, to promote services and news items relevant to this age group.

We’re looking for individuals and groups to add to a pool of models who may be selected to be photographed. Groups could include: a walking group, a sports team, a craft or art group, or a special interest group. If your group contains members younger than 60, please include details of this, as they may still be considered. Participants will be chosen through a selection process with the lead photographer of this project.

The location of each photo shoot will vary but will be in a location recognisable to Nottingham, ie. The Left Lion, Robin Hood Statue, Wollaton Hall etc. Participants will be responsible for making their own way to each location, transport costs will be covered on proof of payment.

Photo shoots will take place between the end of March – June. You will be required to sign a model consent and release form to cover the use and editing of all images taken.

If you are interested in being involved in this project please provide the following information and send to

- Age

- Contact number

- Email address

- Group name, location and nature of group (If applicable)
