ARTSPEAK MEETS - GALLERY VISITS

ArtSpeak Meets is the strand of the project where we explore Gallery spaces, arts venues, events, and other cultural activities together.

Our gallery walkthroughs are a great introduction to the arts. They're relaxed, informal and sociable; giving you the opportunity to meet new people and find out more about the work whilst exploring the latest exhibitions.

We're also introducing trips to venues further afield and are running these in seasons whereby there is a different arts focus in each season.

2020 Literary Season

To begin 2020 we're focusing on literature and will be visiting venues that have become renowned due to their links with some of the most prominent writers and poets of the nineteenth century.

We'll be delving into the history and the works of John Clare, DH Lawrence, Lord Byron and more, through visits and tours of John Clare Cottage, DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum and a Literary Lions walking tour around Nottingham City Centre.
